Wairoa Avenue, North Bondi
Our playgroup in North Bondi is the heart of the Bondi Beach Playgroups. Located next to the Early Childhood Health Centre on the corner of Wairoa Avenue and Brighton Boulevarde, this safely fenced all-weather venue offers the convenience of indoor and outdoor play sessions for children of all ages.
Fun play equipment includes climbing structures, cubby houses and slides, a sandpit and a trampoline, tricycles, scooters, push-along-carts and lots of other exciting toys for active toddlers.
Indoors, you will find boxes full of building blocks, cars, dress-ups, toy animals, a puppet house and play kitchen, musical instruments and books. There is a large craft section to keep your kids busy on rainy days with regular craft activities organised around special times of the year. Babies will enjoy spending time on our colourful activity mats and playing with a large selection of baby toys.
Our North Bondi playgroup home also features a toilet and a small kitchen with tea making facilities and fridge. Some sessions organise a regular morning or afternoon tea where each member brings a piece of fruit to share. Please speak directly to the session leaders for more information.
How to get there
By bus: Buses 333, 380 and 381 stop at Bondi Beach on the corner of Campbell Pde and the Southern end of Wairoa Ave. Bus 389 stops on Blair St on the Northern end of Wairoa Ave. Both stops are only a short stroll away from North Bondi playgroup.
By car: There are several parking options on Wairoa Ave and the surrounding streets. Most are limited to two hours.
